Dream of a little kid Once I had a dream. The most beautiful, idealistic one anyone could have. I was walking to the of the world. On my journey I was terrified. Affraid of alle those horrible things I saw. People fighting, hurting eachother, starving to death. Animals dying for reason at all. The most beautiful forests, flowers and everything else mother earth has gave us ... Gone!!! Why? I thought. And then I saw this rainbow with his beautiful perfect colors and his perfect shape. I loved it the moment I saw it. I decided to follow it’s path. When I reached the bottom I found the pot of gold. Now I was the richest kid in the whole universe. I could do anything I wanted. By things for myself, my own pleasure. But I decided that that wasn’t the right thing to do. I would save or planet. Just by buying it. I would own it and everyone had to listen to me. No one would ever fight. Wars wouldn’t exist anymore. No one would get hurt.I would make sure everyone had enough to eat. No one was starving anymore. I would resture nature for all it’s beaty. Animals would be protected. There was no need to kill them at all. Everyone would be in harmony, peace and happy. Then I woke up. I told my mum about this dream. She just laughed at my face. I couldn’t do all those things. What effort I took. It wouldn’t make any difference. I was just a little kid. One person, nobody in particular. Nobody would listen to me. It made me sad to hear her say those things. It wiped away all my hopes. But may someday, someone would listen and my dream would come through. But for now... It was destroyed. |
